Tape-Echo talks to Pinch & Peverelist to find out their reasons for stopping the night, get their take on the current state of ‘Dubstep’, and finally, what the two of them have planned next. Supported by photographs taken by Alex Digard over a 3 year period, documenting the night through the years.
Stardelta - Admit it, you’ve always wanted to start your own record label. Tape-Echo meets Lewis Hopkin, a veteran of the House music scene who now owns and runs the Stardelta mastering house. With over 20 years behind the boards, he gives you an insight into just how easy and financially realistic pressing a short run of white labels can be.
Ekoplekz - Sammy Maine catches up with the man behind such captivating yet intimidating albums as ‘Intrusive Incidentals Vol.1’ and his collaborative work with Bass Clef under the Ekoclef moniker, going into detail about his unique set up and working method.
Darkestral - A label that avoids any media attention at all costs, having just released the incredible ‘Last Train to Lexington’ 12”, a piece of sound design based on DRKSRs short film scripts then given to collaborative partner ‘Transportation AAD’ (Boddika) for sonic interpretation. We are very pleased to present the original scripts that the tracks were based on, a transmission straight from the Darkestral fax machine.
Outboxx - Alex Digard sits in on a studio session with the brightest lights on the emerging Bristol House music scene. A unique insight into their working methods and influences.
BRSTL Morgan Garvey Talks to Chris Farrell at his Idle Hands shop in Bristol to get the lowdown on his new label, run in partnership with Adam Kidkut. A vinyl-only label that while only one release deep, has turned all the right heads. Find out about their reasons for releasing only records and their thoughts on the current state of the Bristol House scene.

レーベル主宰DrkstrとAlex GreenのプロジェクトTransportation AAD、Alex GreenのGrey Goo名義、某プロデューサー変名Vaalhaalaによる4曲を収録。
1. Transportation AAD - Pagoda Bladerunner reimagined as 18th Century Kyoto, droplets fall and splash wooden deck from angled eaves in a rained drenched atmosphere, whilst distant drums beat a tender solumn ritual.
2. Grey Goo - Lost Transmissions The end of time encapsulated, a broken UFO floats through a turbulent shower of space debris, still emiting signals to an unloving universe, no destination, no chance of return.
3. Vaalhaala - Phaethon Kaleidoscopic journey toward a lost sun deep in the galaxy, where starburst spectal colours stream through the viewing platform and a lone pilot sees images previously unimagined.
4. Grey Goo - See Me Pensive strings and radio static permeate the final journey on this mission, clumps of debris tampoline off the side of the craft as memories flood back to an ancient time and a glint of light enters the scene before we move on to the next undetermined destination with a sense of ease and knowing.

レーベル主宰Drkstrと、Boddika名義でも活動するAlex Green（Instra:Mental）のプロジェクト。もともと映画的なサウンドをコンセプトにしたレーベルだそうですが、本作も短編映画のコンセプトを基に広げていった楽曲だそう。
1. Last Train To Lexington 4am, Brooklyn, N.Y.C. early 80’s, the last graffed up metallic shell makes its way on a fraught course. Tension, heightened awareness of the grate of wheels on track and late night track repairs in dingy tunnels. A journey that must be undertaken.
2. U.F.Unk A UFO journey between space stations encapsulating gravitational pull, air brakes and subsequent landing. On arrival the beats reduce elements of the last 20 years underground music - detroit, electro, dnb and ragga into a cohesive sound.
